Peaches are round fruits that can be grow up to 12 cm in diameter. The fruit has a thin, downy skin with a clear seam. The flesh, depending on the species, is orange-yellow or greenish white, very juicy and aromatic when the fruit is ripe. The flesh is sometimes fibrous and contains red streaks where it is attached to the pit.
