The Guava is essentially round in shape, however can also be oval or pear-shaped. The fruit is about 5 up to 10 cm long. There are many different varieties; and these vary widely in taste and seed formation in the fruit. The flesh can be white, pink, yellow or red. The sweet, musky scent is sharp and pungent.
